Owners Corporation Legislation (VIC)
Most Owners Corporations are a registered Plan of Subdivision governed by the Owners Corporations Act 2006 (updated 2021), the Owners Corporations Regulations (2018) and Model Rules.
Individual buildings may have further set of Building Rules that have been approved at a general meeting and registered with the DNRE, a copy of these rules will be available from your Owners Corporations Manager or your Owners Corporation Committee.

Body Corporate Legislation (QLD)
Most bodies corporate are a community titles scheme registered under the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 (the BCCM Act). In addition to the BCCM Act, each scheme is registered under one of five regulation modules. There are also regulations that apply to all bodies corporate.
